Scripting a simulation has never been easier - Spring 2024 Release

Scripting simulations - Spring 2024 Release

ETU is pleased to introduce new scripting feature in its Learning Simulation Platform Spring 2024 release. The new feature – Script View – will improve the speed and accuracy of script production and reviews for simulation authors and subject matter experts. All scripted content can now be edited and reviewed on one scrollable screen.

The latest release also includes a new addition to our API gateway,  improvements to the learner outcome report as well as further improvements to our user accessibility.

A different approach to authoring

When building ETU simulations, the first thing to get right is the script. All other elements emanate from it. This latest release provides a simplified and faster way to create scripts, placing the model view in the background and allowing authors to focus on the most important aspects of scripting, such as character dialogue, logical flow, and readability.

The Script View feature simplifies the user interface where all components are easily edited and saved automatically, ensuring an optimal authoring experience and preventing any loss of work. Now, each author can take a script-first approach focusing on the element that is most important to them, the script.

This accelerates the production of simulations, enhancing standardization and improving scalability for learning and development professionals.
